What's cooler than being elderly and having grey hair?
Being young and having grey hair, apparently.
That sounds mocky, but I actually love this new hair trend that is allegedly going by 'granny hair'. I do however, think that you have to be one of those people who can pull it off because I'd definitely look like an idiot. A ton of celebrities are rocking the look or have in the past few months including Cara Delevingne.
Brooke Bohan, a hair colorist from FOUR London says that this new look is rather tricky to achieve.
"It can look totally fabulous if done professionally, but beware it is the hardest of all the colours to achieve with no damage to the hair...It will usually take around six months to get hair to the gorgeous grey colour, depending on how much colour build-up the client already has on their hair. You have to grow out as much of the existing colour as possible."
She also advises you only go to a professional salon, which I would do on a normal basis if I wasn't so cheap and stubborn.
