After Princess Diaries came out, Genovia was at the top of my dream list of travel destinations. (and I don't even like pears.)

It was a classic. Every tween/teen/twenty-something girl could relate to Mia, and the struggle she faced just trying to fit in and find out who she wanted to be (even if that was a Princess). I've made a list of 5 Things I remember learning, thanks to the perfectly clumsy Princess Mia. 

1. There's Nothing Wrong with Less-than-Perfect

Frizzy haired, clumsy Mia knows that somedays, things are just not going to get any better. But that's okay. She's got two best friends who don't care what her hair looks like. You go, Mia. 

2. "Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent." (feat. Joe)

This was a super important lesson for Mia (who was often walked all over) to learn in the movie. She was sort of a push-over, and thanks to Joe and his infinite wisdom she realized that you are essentially in control of how people treat you, and how you choose to let that affect you. 

3. First Kisses aren't Overrated 

We all know that Mia dreamt of her perfect foot-popping kiss her whole life. Whether it's your first kiss ever, your first kiss with a true love, there's nothing wrong with wanting that perfect foot-popping moment. Unless he happens to be using you just to be photographed by the paparazzi. 

4. Your Perfect Guy Does Exist

And like Mia, you may realize it when you least expect it. Don't worry. Plus, if you ever screw up, you can fix it with an 'I'm Sorry' M&M pizza. 

5. Finally, how to perfect the princess wave.

It's all in the wrist.

Hair trends come and go. I know this because for a couple years around the sixth grade I rocked the 'Ashlee Simpson' shaggy layers. 

On a cuter note, this spring there's a hair trend that's becoming more and more popular with celebs. 

The Half Bun

You can dress it up, you can dress it down, and I'm pretty sure that even the most incapable hair stylist (meaning me) could muster up enough skill to pull this one off. It also works for pretty much any hair length. I'm not really a fan of the super slicked back pony tail, so I think this casual, perfectly messy look is a much more natural looking solution. 

Kohls and Lauren Conrad have a new collection, and it's Minnie Mouse themed. Yeah, that's right. Dresses, tops, and even shoes inspired by the adorable polka-dotty mouse.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again- I know relatively nothing about fashion. But I'm going to give my very unprofessional opinion anyway. 

First, here are my top 5 'Best Looks' of the night.

5. Jennifer Lopez

I don't care what anyone says, how anyone over the age of 25 rocks a blazer/mini-dress so hard is just something I cannot understand. I also love how in typical J-Lo fashion, she keeps it totally classy with the black and gold. Her skin looks like it's literally glowing here. She's perfect.

I'm proudly a British Youtuber addict. So here's a little list of a few of my favourite relationships. (In no particular order, of course.)

As a disclaimer, I'd also like to admit that I don't branch much out of the one YouTuber circle. So all 6 of these people are friends. Forgive me. 

1. Zalfie (Zoe Sugg & Alfie Deyes)

Why: They're both such lovely people. They're dog's cute (though Kara hates pugs, so don't ask her) and I just really love when people are positive and like to make other people happy.

2. Narcus (Niomi Smart & Marcus Butler)

Why: Not only are they two of the most beautiful people to ever roam the earth, but they're also two of the sweetest. I think they make a perfect couple. It's also super cute that they've been friends for years before they dated. It's so very rom-com. On a side-note, I've worked with Marcus and I think he's wonderful.

3. Janya...I think that's what it is? (Jim Chapman and Tanya Burr)

Why: They're both gorgeous and extremely successful business-people. They're a power couple if i've ever seen one, and they aren't even married yet. Again, I've met Tan at a Youtube convention and she was absolutely the most genuine and sweet lady ever. She also has a killer fashion sense and porcelain skin.

In this week's cutest news, Blake Lively has chosen three lucky ladies to be the godmothers for her daughter, James. 

You may know them from the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

That's right. Blake Lively has named Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara, and Amber Tamblyn as her babies godmothers, and my teenage self is crying tears of joy.

If you saw my recent post on friendship inspired by recently re-watching this movie, you'll know that I loved the movies and the books growing up. The fact that after ten years they still hangout by choice is just too much too ask for. I love everything about it. I hope one day they'll let me into their magic friendship circle.

She's been a celebrity for most of her life, and she's somehow managed to look like (and be) the most down-to-earth person to ever exist. She always looks adorable, and I admire her for not getting over-dressed to impress. I mean, how can someone make comfy look so cute? 

The woman looks perfect, on screen and off. I'd love to borrow that blue sweater, sometime.
