I know Road Trippin' seems like the perfect episode of a TV show, and the perfect best friend summer plan. Well, good news- if you live in the continental United States, it just got even easier.
Randy Olson (a doctoral candidate at Michigan State University) partnered up with Discovery News to put together an algorithm for the perfect American road trip.
It goes through all of the 48 continental states so that you can start in whichever state you're from, and end up back where you started with stops at a landmark in every state.
Cool, right? Yeah. Super cool. Here's the list of landmarks:
