Paper Towns is my all time favourite book. I love the story, I love every character and I love the mystery. It's a book about love, and friendship, and acceptance, and moving on.

Now you can imagine my excitement when Nat Wolff got cast as Q because I think he'd perfect. I was a little hesitant about Cara Delevigne (but only because I've never seen her act) until I saw the trailer and now I'm counting the days until the movie comes out and I can go see it about six times.

John Green just did an interview with Entertainment Weekly about the movie (which comes out on July 24th), and here are some things he said that made me even more excited.

About Nat Wolff being cast as Q:

"He read Paper Towns on the set of The Fault in Our Stars, and I told him that if they ever made a movie of another one of my books, I wanted him to play the main character. I love Nat, and he just naturally sounds like I want the characters in my books to sound. He’s got that tension between innocence and experience, between wanting to live a big, bold life and being absolutely terrified to. He’s also exceptionally mature—I think of Nat more as a friend and collaborator than as a kid."

About Cara Delevigne being cast as Margo:

"Whatever ideas I had about supermodels, Cara immediately deconstructed them and threw them back at me. She’s a wonderful actress. That’s one of the things that I hope will come out of this—people seeing just how talented she is. I desperately wanted to be like her when I was her age. I wanted to have that courage of my convictions and genuinely not care what other people thought of me. I think if you are lucky, you get to meet a few genuinely eccentric people; Cara is one of the few I’ve come across in my life. She’s wonderfully, insanely talented, and also entirely herself."

Comparing the TFIOS movie to Paper Towns:

"It’s hard. The movies are totally different. Paper Towns is a really funny movie, and The Fault in Our Stars, for all of its excellence, fell very flat for me as a comedy. [Laughs] The last movie I got to watch people crush my soul, and this time I got to watch them lift it up."

I can't wait until this movie comes out. I feel like it's going to be the kind where you come out of the theatre thinking about life in a different way. There's nothing quite like that feeling.

Thank You, Blake Lively.

In this week's cutest news, Blake Lively has chosen three lucky ladies to be the godmothers for her daughter, James.

You may know them from the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

That's right. Blake Lively has named Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara, and Amber Tamblyn as her babies godmothers, and my teenage self is crying tears of joy.

If you saw my recent post on friendship inspired by recently re-watching this movie, you'll know that I loved the movies and the books growing up. The fact that after ten years they still hangout by choice is just too much too ask for. I love everything about it. I hope one day they'll let me into their magic friendship circle.

Here are some pictures of the gals all together for you to admire.

Just too perfect.

Style Steal

I love her for so many reasons, but her style is very high on the list.

This week, I'm stealing Reese Witherspoon's Style.

She's been a celebrity for most of her life, and she's somehow managed to look like (and be) the most down-to-earth person to ever exist. She always looks adorable, and I admire her for not getting over-dressed to impress. I mean, how can someone make comfy look so cute?

The woman looks perfect, on screen and off. I'd love to borrow that blue sweater, sometime.

Love you forever, Reese.

Yes, Angels are real.

And they look something like this.

This, as you may/probably know, is Harry Styles. Singer, dancer, and blouse wearer extraordinaire. He's been touring the world making beautiful music for the past five years pretty much non stop, and do you know what he did with his time off this week?

He visited a South African charity.

I don't know about you, but I get pretty tired and grumpy not having a day off in a week. I can't imagine how much these guys must appreciate their time off when it happens only one week a year.

I know that there are other good samaritans out there spreading love in the world, but I wanted to give Harry a little recognition. He has everything he needs, and could spend his time off taking a nice vacation on a private island that he could buy with his small fortune. But instead he's sharing his time with people who have had a hard time in life. More specifically, the Lalela Project.

Thankfully, the folks at the Lalela Project have an instagram account. So enjoy these photos of the floppy haired angel looking very friendly with these super excited kids.

Anyway, as if having rock-star good looks and lady-melting voice wasn't enough. Everything he does makes me love him more. Even if you don't like One Direction, you have to admit that this kid's got something special.

We love you Harry.
No, seriously.
We're available, anytime.

It's a Boy!

Someone celebrate with me!

Jill & Derick Dillard (Duggar) had their baby!

His name is Israel.

WAIT A SECOND.

Somehow I didn't know that Jill said they're breaking tradition, and not going with the theme of a 'family letter'. (which is good because otherwise that meant they chose 'I', and can you think of 20 'I' names?)

I do know that if I had a baby, I'd make the press wait until I had showered the next day to take their pictures. But the Duggar's are somehow all ridiculously attractive. So she rocks it anyway.

And to Jill & Derick,
If in two years you need a nanny with a charming sense of humor, please call me. I have references.

Woman Of The Week

I think I'm going to call this 'W.O.W' for short. And because it automatically gives this category the positive tone that it deserves. The woman of the week is just going to be a lady that I think deserves a little recognition.

This Weeks W.O.W! is...

Grace Helbig

You know her. You love her. You want to be her best friend.

Who Is She:

Grace has been on YouTube for so long, and I've been watching her almost the entire time. She vlogs, she does VERY professional (heavy sarcasm) cooking tutorials, fashion reviews and anything else you could ever want to watch. Find her here!

Why She Is W.O.W:

Without even considering the fact that due to some sort of mysterious shenanigans Grace had to restart her channel and rebrand herself last year and is already back at over 2 million subscribers, she has also starred in a movie (search Netflix for Camp Takota- you won't regret it) and her own talk show has just premiered last week on E! It's hilarious. I promise. It's on Friday night's at 10:30.

We met Grace a couple of years ago. We turned the corner down the hallway to our hotel room and Grace (along with her bro Tim and Mamrie Hart) was coming toward us and Kara started screaming and then Grace started screaming and then there was a lot of chatting and selfies. The usual. I'll put up that photo. Please note that she momentarily freaked out in the good way that I was wearing a shirt that she also owned.

She's super gracious, and perfectly hilarious and basically just wonderful in every way. Watch her on E! so she knows there are other weirdo's out there that appreciate her paving the way.
